Satire · Fictional terms
Terms of Outrage.
Last updated: whenever we felt like it. Effective immediately, retroactively, and emotionally.
By reading this page you agree to be monitored, misquoted, and mildly inconvenienced. You were already being monitored. We just wanted to be included.
1. This is satire
AWARE-ish is a parody of school board agenda surveillance products. Moms for Monitoring is a fictional organization. The districts, people, quotes, alerts, case files, and press releases on this site are invented. Nothing here is a factual claim about Moms for Liberty, its AWARE program, any school district, or any real person.
2. Nothing here is real
The scanner does not scan. The alerts do not alert. The leaderboard ranks districts that do not exist. The form goes nowhere. If any of this resembles your district, that is a coincidence and possibly a cry for help.
3. No warranty, express or implied
We make no guarantee that this site is accurate, useful, current, or funny. It is provided “as is,” which in this case means “as a joke.” Your use of the site is at your own risk and, ideally, your own discretion.
4. Do not contact real officials
Nothing here is a call to action against a real school board, teacher, librarian, or district employee. Do not use this site to harass anyone. The real product this parodies does enough of that.
5. Intellectual property
We do not use the logos, trademarks, or copyrighted materials of Moms for Liberty. The name AWARE-ish is a parody, not an affiliation. If you believe something on this site infringes a right you hold, tell us and we will change it.
6. Privacy
We collect almost nothing. Our privacy policy explains the almost. We do not sell data, because we do not have data, because we do not want data, because we are a parody.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of vibes, in the jurisdiction of “it’s a joke.” Any dispute shall be resolved by reading the actual source document, which is the one thing this product was designed to prevent.
